Meisha Sherman joined Mindbody in April 2022 as Chief People Officer with over 25 years in human resources, focused on all things people and culture. In her current role, she continues her focus on people and culture, while being data driven and performance focused. Her talent first, high performing culture mindset guides the strategic HR solutions: 4Ws framework: workforce, workspace, workplace, and work tools. Prior to joining Mindbody as Chief People Officer, she served as Global Vice President, Human Resources and Corporate Vice President Diversity & Inclusion at Envista Holdings Corporation (a Danaher Legacy Company}, a $2.8B Medical Technology company, headquartered in Southern California. In this role, Meisha Sherman was responsible for all facets of human resources, globally partnering with the Board, CEO, and C suite executive leadership team.

Meisha R. Sherman’s career spans many industries, from fortune 10 to fortune 1000 companies, including high technology, at Hewlett Packard as Global Director, Human Resources, Government aerospace defense at the Raytheon Company (now Raytheon Technologies}, as Senior Manager, Global Human Resources, the consulting space at Alert Staffing (Adecco woman minority owned partner) and Remedy, and the financial industry at Bank of America in Corporate Human Resources. Throughout Ms. Sherman’s career she has been responsible for all facets of human resources, including leading as a trusted partner, advisor and business partner to the business, executive compensation, employee relations, compensation and benefits, organizational design, performance management, talent acquisition, leadership development, diversity & inclusion, succession planning, employee engagement and talent management, delivering high-impact strategies that drive sustainable business results and organizational performance excellence.

Ms. Sherman served in the United States Army for 6 years, where she was responsible for the recruitment of prospective soldiers, and the development and retention of existing soldiers and she continues to serve military service men and women and veterans today in partnership with the USO, San Diego. Ms. Sherman is a servant leader in the community and expert in the Human Resources field. Ms. Sherman is a Board Chair of a $3.SB asset credit union, California Coast Credit Union, Chairwoman of the board of the Neighborhood House Association (NHA}, a top not for profit in the US, and as a leader in the HR field having served as a board member on the California State Council Society Human Resources (SHRM). Her immediate past board appointments include, an officer of the National Association of Women MBAs (NAWMBA}, the Pepperdine University Graziadio Alumni Board, and founding member of the Pepperdine University Black Alumni Council. Ms. Sherman is viewed as a subject matter expert and has presented on broad based HR, Leadership and D+I topics at the Conference Board, ATD, PIHRA SHRM, and NAWMBA conferences. Ms. Sherman earned an MBA from Pepperdine University Graziadio School of Business and Management. Ms. Sherman received her bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from California State University Dominguez Hills where she graduated magna cum laude.
