Internship Opportunities

Neighborhood House delivers a wide-array of services to thousands of individuals and families across the county. With 24 different social service programs at 125 locations throughout San Diego, NHA offers a multitude of internship opportunities for students across varying fields. An internship at NHA not only provides valuable real-world experience for both undergraduates and graduate students in their respective fields of study, it is also a way to give back to the community through the legacy of NHA.

In order for students to qualify for an internship at NHA, students must be registered at an accredited educational institution and/or must be enrolled in a work experience program or similar program of study. Internships are available year-round. The length of the internship varies by position and is determined by the specific needs of the program for which the student is applying.
