Dr. Sheryl White, a consulting psychologist and organization development consultant, has over 30 years of experience providing industrial/organizational counseling, consulting, training and coaching services. Dr. White’s experience and key areas of expertise include leadership development, board development, strategic planning, performance management, conflict resolution, culture transformation initiatives, diversity/inclusion and team building. She is an expert at helping leaders develop self-awareness and self-regulating abilities, interpersonal skills and the cultural competencies necessary to successfully influence and lead others.Dr. White initially joined NHA as the Special Assistant to the President/CEO in March 2008. In order to help fulfill the CEO’s vision of creating a quality work environment, Dr. White developed and implemented NHA’s Lift, Learn, Serve (LLS) Commitment. The LLS Commitment focuses on lifting employee morale, learning ways to identify and implement strategies to manage stressors and serving internal and external customers with excellence. In June 2008, Dr. Gee was appointed to the position of Vice President of Training and Organization Development. She is responsible for ensuring the agency’s: workforce is skilled and competent; work culture supports the vision of the CEO and Board; and systems and processes are effective and efficient. Additionally, she leads the administration and delivery of NHA’s InnoVisions program, a fee-for-service social enterprise that provides organization effectiveness, board, leadership, and workforce development services to external organizations.Since 1999 Dr. White has served as an adjunct feedback and leader/executive coach with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), a core adjunct professor at National University, and guest lecturer at several universities. Additionally, she serves as a board member with the San Diego Delta Foundation and the Alliance for Strong Families and Communities and the University of Michigan’s Executive Leadership Institute Alumni Connections Board. She is a life member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and Grambling State University Alumni Association.Dr. White holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Grambling State University, a master’s degree in counseling from Louisiana Tech University and a master’s and doctor of psychology degree in culture and human behavior from Alliant International University. She is a Board Certified Coach, successfully certified as reliable in CLASS (Classroom Assessment Scoring System), a qualified/trained mediator and provider of several organization, team and individual assessment instruments. Dr. White is passionate about bringing inspiring compassion and helping people work better, and better together for the betterment of humanity.
