NHA’s very own General Counsel, Dwight Smith, was the recipient of the 2013 San Diego Business Journal General Counsel of the Year Award in the nonprofit category. This was the first annual General Counsel of the Year awards by the San Diego Business Journal and Dwight will forever be remembered for being the first to receive this award in the nonprofit category. Dwight was honored by the San Diego Business Journal and his peers during an award ceremony on October 10, 2013. Dwight’s outstanding efforts and contributions to NHA were recognized and the agency was highlighted for its efforts in the community.
