Cynthia Sullivan has almost 15 years experience in the non-profit and youth development fields, making it her mission to create innovative non-profit organizations with new approaches to old problems. Most recently, she has worked in Administrative Operations and Development for the Wave Academy, an organization that uses aquatic therapy to treat veterans struggling with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Cynthia began her career as the Associate Director of Foster Youth Incentive, a non-profit that she helped to start. She went on to be the Manage at the YMCA Turning Point before spending three years as the Program Manager for YMCA Mary’s House where she implemented a transitional living program for foster youth. She moved on to become the Program Manager for Just In Time for Foster Youth, and then worked has an Independent Contractor, advising non-profit start-up programs. Cynthia earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from San Diego State University, and attended Mind Body College to learn Massage Therapy.
