Board Member
Vanessa Nelson participates as the NHA Council Representative and is owner of Plant Lovers Delight. A wife and mother of seven children, Nelson has gained knowledge in different areas of NHA’s Head Start Program. She regularly assists in making decisions and recommendations while taking part in standing committees such as the Executive Committee and the Personal Committee for Policy Council. Nelson also volunteers in other areas of the community such as her children’s schools, church, Boy Scouts, Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, Safari Park and San Diego Cactus & Succulent Society.
