The Neighborhood House Association hosted the Third Annual Thanksgiving dinner for Our Children on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at its Mountain View social service campus.
The dinner provided an opportunity to underserved children and families from various neighboring organizations to enjoy a free full-course holiday meal.
The Thanksgiving Dinner for Our Children event offered underserved families the opportunity to be part of a fun holiday experience that they might not otherwise enjoy. In addition to a meal, families had a chance to enjoy educational activities as well as receive access to information and resources to enrich their quality of life.
The event offered a sit-down meal, entertainment, children’s activities and more. Volunteers from: NHA, SDSU Dance Team, San Diego Target Stores, UCSD Scholar Society and other participating organizations helped make this an unforgettable event for all.
