Rudolph A. Johnson, III
President and CEO

A native of San Diego, Rudolph A. (Rudy) Johnson, III, knows too well the impact that Neighborhood House Association (NHA) programs have on a family's life. As a child, Mr. Johnson participated in NHA's Head Start program near Memorial Junior High School. Today, he leads the organization with great passion and a vision to transform NHA into one of San Diego County and the nation's model human services agency.

"I am inspired by the struggles that families, children and our elderly face each day to make ends meet. I know that the programs and services NHA provides make a big difference in a person's life. Because of NHA, a mother can go to work while her child receives the benefit of getting a positive head start on education, a senior gets needed medical care, and a family struggling to survive can have food to eat each day."

Today, Mr. Johnson, plays a major role in helping ensure that San Diego's most needy children, elderly and families obtain vital human Services to improve their quality of life. He leads the Neighborhood House Association as President and CEO.

NHA is San Diego County's largest multi-purpose human services agency and serves San Diego County through a network of seventeen programs in over 130 locations. NHA helps thousands of individuals and families improve their quality of life by providing food and vital social services including employment, healthcare, child, family and senior services.
