NHA hosted the first Let’s Move Head Start Olympics on May 18, 2013 at Lincoln High School’s football field. Head Start children from throughout San Diego participated in a series of non-competitive physical fitness activities geared at promoting health and child well-being. NHA Head Start delegate & partner agencies as well as other community partners were on hand to provide helpful resources on children’s health and nutrition to participants and families. Children’s entertainer and singer Shawn Brown also performed live to kick-off the event!
